Student Support

Chaplaincy

Craigieburn Secondary College currently has a Chaplain Mr Derick Qoriniyasi. Chaplaincy in state schools provides pastoral care for students, staff and families in the school community to care for their emotional, spiritual and physical needs. This pastoral care has the goal of seeing individuals encouraged, equipped and empowered to journey towards healing, reconciliation and personal growth.

Craigieburn Secondary College Chaplaincy offers a confidential, supportive and friendly service catering for the need of our students, parents and school community. Our Chaplain works as part of the Allied Health Team within the school on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday, and as such, can help refer students to the School Nurse, Learning Partners or members of the Allied Health Team.

Our Chaplain attends camps, excursions and participates in sports days and also runs programs to help support our students.
